Weekly Photo Challenge: Possibility

The theme for week’s WordPress Weekly Photo Challenge is Possibility. My inspiration for this post is an old coin—a Fuerte (a coin worth five Venezuelan Bolívares)—I picked up years ago.

Decision Maker - El Ejecutivo

I love the moment after you flip a coin, right before it lands. That’s the moment of possibility where things are always 50/50.

If you’re flipping a coin to help make a decision the second the coin leaves your thumb anxiety kicks in and you know which outcome you really desire.

Want to participate in the challenge? Head on over to The Daily Post and follow the instructions below.

1. Each week, [they] provide a theme for creative inspiration. You take photographs based on your interpretation of the theme, and post them on your blog anytime before the following Friday when the next photo theme will be announced.

2. To make it easy for others to check out your photos, title your blog post “Weekly Photo Challenge: (theme of the week)” and be sure to use a “postaday2011″ or “postaweek2011″ tag.

3. Subscribe to The Daily Post so that you don’t miss out on weekly challenge announcements. Sign up via the email subscription link in the sidebar or RSS.

Now, take a picture that captures this week’s theme and post a link to it in the comments below.

Actually there’s a third possibility – it could land on its edge and stay that way so probably a 49.99/49.99 chance. Oh and there’s always the possibility that it will fall down a drain in which case its a 99% certainty you ain’t gettin it back 😉 Nice idea for the challenge:-)

I don’t think this coin is going down the drain any time soon–you’d need an extremely wide opening. It’s pretty massive 😀
